Homemade Pizza Night

Hi there. Here's my third layout for the week. This one goes back to clean and simple designs. I have to have a good balance of the two.

Homemade Pizza Night
I chose a polka dot paper to highlight the dots on the pizza. It just seemed to work with the colours and made the pizza pop. We don't usually make our own pizza but this was so much fun and I let Miss C go to town on the design, although she didn't really eat the olives - that's for me - I love olives.
I heat embossed the journalling in gold. I also stitched on the layered papers to add more details.
I also heat embossed the 'homemade' with a bronze embossing powder. It was a little messy as the pigment decided to stick to the paper and left a smear where I had some glue present. Hopefully it's not too noticeable.  I finished the page with splatters of gold and white paint.
I love this cluster of embellishments and accents. The mini square journaling cards are so cute.
