Hello Duckies

Hi there. It's been a productive week for layouts and I did three this week. Hubby's been away for the last week, so I got to take over the study in the evenings and leave all my stuff out without him grumbling about the mess. Haha.

This is the first layout I did. A very simple one that took only a half hour.

Hello Duckies
I wanted to keep the layout simple and fun to match the photos, using mostly bright colours. The photos were taken at a shopping mall that used the ducks as a promotion. Too cute.
I free-hand cut the pink paper with scallops and then added bits of the other colours randomly on each. I like the slight childishness
I die cut the hello from glitter paper and bulked it up with four more layers of blue cardstock to make it thicker. I stuck the yellow alpha stickers on white cardstock and cut around it. I love the big blue flowers, rimmed with silver balls. It gives an eye catching visual to the page.
I finished off the layout with some wooden buttons.

Products Used
Patterned papers from Pebbles Fun in the Sun collection and Doodlebug Design Sunkissed collection
Flowers from Prima Marketing
Wooden buttons from Shimelle
Teal glitter paper for word hello from Heidi Swapp
Yellow letters from Doodlebug Designs

Thanks for looking
