Beautiful You

Only one layout in the last week. I was tidying up my scrap area when a row of photos I had printed a while ago fell out. I was wondering where they had gone to. Shows me that a little cleaning up can be beneficial. I say that as I don't have the neatest of scrap areas. I do try though.

For this page, I scraplifted from an Amy Tan layout. For those who don't know, scraplifting is to take someone elses's layout and interpret (or copy) it for your own. If you compare both layouts, they are quite different, however, I used it as an inspiration.  The photos were taken in September last year after a ballet lesson.

I love this grey, yellow and blue combination. So striking yet understated.
I dug into my rub-on stash to find the cute doodle rub-ons under the title. It ties in with the freehand doodle I did around the yellow matt. The green crown accent is covered in distress stickles to give that great texture.
I love the column of butterflies that give visual dimension to the page.
