Father's Day Layouts

It's less than two weeks to Father's day and for once, I am on top of it, with regards to layouts anyway. Still need to take the little girl out shopping for a nice present.

I decided to do two layouts. One of her daddy and one of her grandad. Both use the same paper collection to tie in with the theme. It's quite a cutesy paper, so I tried to work that into a mainly "male" theme. Of course, I still have to add my girly touches. Just can't help it.

For this, I cut out a border to frame the plain background. I drew a scalloped edge around the photo matt before cutting it out. As the patchwork paper already had a faux stitched detail to it, I repeated it on most of the other papers and embellishments.
Look at this cute little sticker tag from Miss C. A nice touch.
These pictures were long overdue to be scrapped but it took a while to find the right papers. The papers and embellishments are so cute and tie in with the pictures. Is that not the cutest gate? Great place to hide some journaling.
Hidden journaling.
