Simple Tag Album

Here's a little project to do with kids. HKMC were asked to do a paper craft for a Brownies (girl guides) group in order to earn their craft badge. With thirteen lively nine year old girls to teach, I decided to do a tag mini album. Carla chose the papers and I took some to make up a sample. I chose photos from Miss C's sports day for my little album, showing all the different events she had to complete; from bean bag toss to long jump. I added lots of stamping to each page before sticking each photo down with a little caption. For the front cover, I layered up a few papers, punched a faux spine-binder and added a few flower accents. The whole album was bound with mini jump rings and the tag hole threaded with decorative ribbons.

Five tags held together with jump rings to form a mini album.
Each tag is stamped, photos matted and stuck down before adding captions.
Inside pages of the album.
We did this class on Wednesday afternoon and needless to say, all the girls had a great time stamping, glueing, cutting and punching. One and half hours passed by so quickly and each girl left clutching their finished album with big smiles on their faces.
