The sketch for this month:

Drum Away
I used kraft cardstock as the background for this layout and played with some mixed media. The photos were taken early this year during our trip to Japan.
For the background, I added gesso to certain parts of the paper before adding splatters of blue paints. I cut up lots of white and blue vellum pieces and pasted them over the gesso before adding some black and gold stamping.
I sewed the white lace trim into flowers and added a gold flower centre.
The kit comes with lots of alpha stickers and this one suits perfectly.

Sofa Picnic Lunch
Absolutely love the blues and golds of this layout. Such a great combination. I backed the gold under torn strips of the blue balloon paper. The photo was taken on a lazy Saturday home movie lunch day.
A little cluster of flowers and word tiles add detail to this photo corner.
I cut out the cross design from another piece of paper and stuck them randomly around the page. I finished off the page with a splatter of ink.
Loving the foam letters. So easy to use and easy to stick.

Tenrific 10!
A rare double page layout. I had so many great photos I couldn't leave out for this event. The kit comes with two of the gold glitter background paper and it looks so gorgeous as a backdrop to the photos. I also used a balloon paper in the centre - so fitting for the photos.
Here's the same pages but in single size.

I turned the cotton balls into fluffy balloons. I coloured the word titles with zig markers and added the enamel dots around the page.
I had the title twice as I liked them both and this area seemed a little bare without it.
Loving the birthday stickers that came in the kit. Really glad I got to use this kit for the photos - they match so well and have a more grown up theme.
